Yvette Simpson is a seasoned Executive Business Partner and the Founder of The Y Principle.
With 30 years of experience partnering with
C-Suite leaders, Board members, and Founders, Yvette has an in-depth knowledge of administration and business support, strategic initiatives, and a great appreciation for staff engagement and emotional intelligence. Yvette enjoys being “the people’s person” and bringing a smile to the workplace.
Throughout her career, Yvette has worked across diverse industries including finance, health, management consulting, manufacturing, FMCG, and startups.
Yvette has been recognised externally for her contribution to the profession, including recently being awarded Virtual Business Support Professional of the Year (2025) by the Australian Institute of Office Professionals (AIOP).
She was also awarded Travel Manager of the Year (2019) and was featured in Executive PA & Chief of Staff Magazine. Yvette has been invited to speak at leading industry forums such as the Executive Assistant Network Congress and EA Congress with Intrepid Minds.
Cathrine Macri,
EA & Office Manager
Cathrine is an accomplished administrative professional with more than 15 years experience across Not for Profits, Digital & Media Agencies, Start-ups & ASX Listed companies.
Cathrine's experiences span across the administrative spectrum, including Executive Assistance, Office Management, Events Management, Workplace Experience and HR coordination.
Cathrine is passionate about creating and maintaining an inclusive and positive company culture through the implementation of thoughtful and creative activities for staff engagement and cultural celebrations. She is also highly experienced in creating onboarding playbooks, introducing recognition programs and implementing company policies and procedures, to create an overall people focussed workplace.
A highly efficient and thought driven team player, Cathrine has been part of The Y Principle since August 2023, supporting clients with event management, travel bookings, diary management and general executive business support.

With her high emotional intelligence, Angie effectively partners with key stakeholders to enhance outcomes and colleague engagement.
Angie’s career encompasses work with businesses of varying sizes across a wide array of sectors, including recruitment, finance, health, management consulting, construction, events, and non-profit organisations.
A commitment to social impact runs throughout Angie’s career, highlighted by her recent role as Co-Chair of the Social Impact Committee (Pacific region) at Marsh.

Sally’s experience spans the administrative spectrum, including executive support, office coordination, budget and event management, and stakeholder communication. She is highly organised and dependable, with a strong appreciation for accuracy, well-presented information and clear, professional communication.
